Marina Bahía Golfito is a sustainable IGY ecoluxury marina in Golfo Dulce, Costa Rica, developed and owned by Enjoy Group.

Once a thriving banana port and later a Duty-Free Zone, the town, Golfito has been transformed into a world-class marina for yachts and megayachts on the calm waters of Golfo Dulce. (AEO opening.)

Enjoy Group turned an abandoned project into an ecoluxury marina that reflects the values of environmental stewardship and community development. As part of the IGY network, we deliver first-class services — including a convenient fuel dock — for vessels of all sizes, while protecting the extraordinary biodiversity that surrounds us.

History

Costa Rica’s southernmost port town, Golfito is home to Marina Bahia Golfito, sits adjacent to Golfito Bay and the Golfo Dulce, with the Osa Peninsula just across the water. There is easy access here to some of the world’s most memorable outdoor experiences. Unimaginable biodiversity is honored by unparalleled conservation and environmental stewardship.

A gateway to eco-tourism and boutique hotels and lodges that provide the very essence of experiential conservation, find uncharted waters, unrivaled sportfishing grounds, big surf, diverse natural experiences. Go on your own or enjoy Marina Bahia Golfito’s reputation for providing concierge and amenities, even for the world’s finest superyachts! Golfito is steeped in tradition. From the 1930s through the 1980s, Golfito was a thriving community based on the banana trade. In the late 1980s, the Costa Rican government worked with the local community to establish Golfito as a Duty-Free Zone. Coupled with innovation in charter laws, including crew considerations, and powered by investment from sustainable developers like Enjoy Group, today, Golfito and Marina Bahia Golfito offer the opportunity to experience Costa Rica in innovative, yet nostalgic, ways.
